Aim We are the Leeds Assisted Conception Unit Patient to Patient Support Group affiliated with St James and Leeds General Infirmary and our aim has always been to offer help, information and support to couples undergoing treatment at St James’ and LGI hospitals. History of Group The group was formed in 1990 by patients who found that sharing information and experiences with fellow patients offered greater support than even family or friends who found it difficult to understand. What we aim to achieve Moving away from regular monthly meetings we feel that by setting up a website we could provide support by sharing our experiences. We also have access to consultants and specialists nurses on the unit and are linked to the Reproductive Medicine Unit and are verified by the medical team.
